Enjoy this fall-inspired cold brew with warm notes of pumpkin spice and sweet, creamy foam. This dairy-free pumpkin cold foam is equally delicious as the Starbuck's version. INGREDIENTS
Cold Brew Coffee
1ouncecoffee ground
1cupwaterroom temperature
Pumpkin Cold Foam
¼cupvegan heavy creamchilled
2tablespoonoat milkchilled
1tablespoonvegan condensed milkchilled
1tablespoonpumpkin pureechilled
½teaspoonpumpkin spice
¼teaspoonvanilla extract
Additional Ingredients (Optional)
cinnamon powderto garnish
ice
1tablespoonmaple syrup
METHOD
To make cold brew coffee
Combine the water and coffee together in a french press or wide-mouth mason jar. Make sure the lid is screwed on tightly if using a mason jar. Refrigerate to steep coffee for 20 to 24 hours.
Strain coffee concentrate after steeping. Note: If using a mason jar to brew coffee, then use a coffee strainer or metal strainer to strain the coffee.
To make pumpkin cold foam
Place all cold foam ingredients into a wide mouth cup and use a hand-held frother to whisk till frothy and creamy.Note: You can use a small blender cup to combine the cold foam cream, but becareful not to over blend it.
How to assemble pumpkin cold foam
If using ice, then add it to the bottom of the glass first. Then pour over the 1 cup of cold brew coffee and maple syrup for additional sweetness, if desired. Next top it off with pumpkin cold foam cream.
Optional: Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon powder.
NOTES
Fresh coffee: Use freshly brewed cold coffee for the best flavor, and make sure your beans are fresh as well!
Chilled ingredients: Ensure your foam ingredients are chilled for the fluffiest results.
Don’t overblend: Don’t overblend the foam so it maintains its airy consistency.
