METHOD
Brew Tea
Steep the tea bag in hot water (180℉) for 5 minutes in a mason jar. Then use a spoon to scoop out the tea bags and discard them. Screw a lid over the mason jar and refrigerate the brewed tea for at least an hour till it's completely chilled.Note: It is best to refrigerate the brewed tea overnight.
Boba
In a saucepan, submerge tapioca pearls in boiling water. Cook until pearls float to the top; cook about another 3-4 minutes. Scoop out one and taste test the texture to make sure they are ready before draining. Next drain and transfer into a bowl.
Immediately mix in the syrup and the boba pearls, and set aside.
Honeydew milk tea blend
Place brewed tea, oat milk, honeydew, and matcha in a blender. Blend till you achieve a smooth consistency.
Assemble
To assemble in a tall glass - Add boba along with maple syrup to the bottom of the glass. Then add crushed ice, followed by the honeydew milk tea blend.
Stir with a wide mouth bubble tea straw before slurping.
NOTES
Brewing Temperature: Brew green tea at the right temperature (180 degrees Fahrenheit) to prevent bitterness.
Chill the Tea: Ensure the brewed tea is chilled before blending for a refreshing taste.
Serve Immediately: Serve your honeydew milk tea immediately after assembling it for the best texture of the boba.
